The autumn edition of the Seasonal School is dedicated to exploring science beyond disciplinary boundaries. Our focus lies on meta‑, inter‑ and trans‑scientific approaches — three complementary ways of rethinking how knowledge is created, connected, and transformed. The upcoming edition will bring together researchers, artists, and theorists who experiment with new forms of inquiry, challenge established frameworks, and test how far scientific thinking can be stretched without losing its rigor. Through workshops, discussions and creative sessions, participants will engage with methods that question assumptions, bridge distant fields and open speculative pathways for future research. The school is designed as a space for collaboration, conceptual risk‑taking and intellectual play — a place where ideas can collide productively and generate new perspectives.

• Event date: November 23-27, 2026
• Duration: 5 days (Monday–Friday)
• Participants: max. 40 master’s and doctoral students from across Europe
• Staff: lecturers from across Europe – Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, University of Silesia in Katowice
• Scope of participation for each participant: 1 x thematic workshop (10 x 45 min.), a few open lectures, much teamwork
• What you gain: a certificate of participation, new knowledge and skills, new friendships, a broad perspective on development opportunities and applications in humanities.
• Participating in Seasonal School allows you to get 4 ECTS
