The photo exhibition "Gaia - our Home" by Ryszard Kulik shows various aspects of human - Earth relations. Pictures and texts give an opportunity to reflect about basic values and one's way of life. The author shows different symptoms of deep ecological crises in a global perspective and point out their roots in the human's thinking about the planet and other creatures and themselves. Pictures and texts also show the beauty of the wilderness, our deep relations with the Earth, and give us ideas about changes in our minds that are necessary to counteract ecological crises.
Ryszard Kulik is a psychologist and works as tutor for the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology in the University of Silesia in Katowice. He is also a passionate traveler. He is an author of a book "How to form ecological attitudes". He has been involved in environmental and psychological education for many years. R. Kulik cooperates with many ecological organizations (NGOs). He is inspired by close contact with wilderness, humanistic psychology and deep ecology philosophy.
